The MACD2Line is a free custom indicator for MetaTrader 4 that is designed to analyze changing situations in the Forex market. It is an updated and improved version of the standard MACD oscillator. The indicator draws moving averages and volume histogram in a separate window of the chart, with a zero line dividing the overbought and oversold zones.
Features
Section titled “Features”The MACD2Line indicator has several features that make it advantageous over the standard MACD. It draws two moving averages, the fast EMA and the slow EMA, which are of different colors. Entry signals are generated when the fast line crosses the slow line. The indicator also divides the histogram volumes into bullish and bearish colors, with red indicating selling and green indicating buying. The zero line of the indicator can serve as an additional signal for trading.
Trading Signals (Alerts)
Section titled “Trading Signals (Alerts)”The MACD2Line generates bearish and bullish signals. However, it is recommended to use trendlines as an additional tool for enhancing the reliability of entry points. The indicator can be used for both sell trades and buy trades, depending on the trend indicated by the trendline. Stop Loss and position closing should be based on the readings of the EMA and the trendline.
